The Luminary Project (TLP), an initiative committed to empowering social innovators and scaling changemakers across Nigeria, is pleased to announce the appointment of its inaugural board of directors. Composed of five distinguished leaders with deep expertise in talent, technology, operations, revenue, and growth, this board of directors will play a central role in guiding TLP’s strategic direction, strengthening its programs, and expanding its ecosystem impact. 

As The Luminary Project steps into a new chapter of growth and impact, the creation of its board of directors marks a transformative moment in its journey that will help TLP scale deliberately, sustainably, and ethically.

Meet the Board of Directors:

  1. Ogochuwku Onwuzuruike – Board Chair

    Ogochukwu Onwuzurike is a business development strategist and market leader with extensive experience driving growth, partnerships, and profitability across Africa’s technology, FMCG, and payments sectors. She currently serves as Director of Market Development at Truecaller, leading market expansion, user acquisition, and go-to-market strategies in Nigeria.

    Ogochukwu is known for her strategic insight, data-driven approach, and people-centred leadership. She has consistently championed innovation, compliance, and collaboration in complex markets, helping global and regional brands achieve scale and impact across Africa.

  2. Collins Ndukwe – Board Member

    Collins is a Senior Engineering Programs Manager at Google and a seasoned technology leader with deep experience in software engineering, product management, and digital transformation. As a professional in high-growth tech environments, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to the table.
    Collins is also a community builder and promoter of knowledge sharing. He has supported developer communities, tech meetups, and learning initiatives. He believes in unlocking potential through access, collaboration, and mentorship, especially for emerging technologists in Nigeria and across Africa.

  3. Napa Onwusah – Founder, TLP & Board Member

    Napa Onwusah is a business leader with 25+ years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, and public policy. She leads Placidcode Labs in Atlanta and B4B Partners, a revenue consulting and capacity development firm. A former executive at AWS, Google, Microsoft, Visa, and more, she now helps entrepreneurs and professionals scale their impact. She also founded The Luminary Project, supporting social changemakers across Nigeria. Napa has been featured in Forbes Africa and was named one of the Top 100 Career Women in Africa in 2024.

  4. Eliezer Ajah – Board Member

    Eliezer Ajah is a dynamic talent and learning leader, a builder of builders, and a passionate advocate for Nigeria’s next generation of changemakers. As Head of Job Creation & Placement, 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Programme, Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy, he plays a pivotal role in sourcing, nurturing, and deploying tech talent to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s evolving digital economy. 

    Eliezer is also recognised as an IVLP (International Visitor Leadership Program) Alumnus, which underscores his commitment to cross-cultural exchange, leadership development, and global collaboration.

  5. Ebere Nkoro – Board Member

    Ebere is a seasoned technology sales executive with over 18 years of experience driving business growth, leading high-performance teams, and championing digital transformation across organisations.

    Throughout her career, Ebere has held leadership roles at globally renowned companies, including Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, McAfee, Dimension Data, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). She is respected for her deep expertise in solution and value selling, customer management, strategic partnerships, and aligning technology with business goals.

  6. Funmilola Akinteye – Board Member

    Funmilola is an accomplished project management and operations leader with a demonstrated track record of delivering strategic, high-impact initiatives across sectors. As GTM Manager at MTN,  her deep expertise in leading teams, managing processes, and achieving business goals is evident. 

    In prior roles, Funmilola has overseen complex programs, optimised operational efficiency, and championed change management. She brings a strong blend of analytical rigour, stakeholder engagement, and strategic execution to the table. She is committed to growing other leaders and supporting initiatives that enhance processes, and purpose-driven outcomes.
