The Impact Funds

The Impact Funds

Training without money changes very little. Our three funds put capital behind changemakers at different stages, and every payment is tied to something we can check.

The three funds

  • Impact Fund I

For the current Top 20, to start or grow their core work. Eligibility is automatic once the Fellowship is complete. Paid in May and July.

  • Impact Fund II

For alumni who are ready to expand. Open to competitive application once a year, in August.

  • Impact Fund III

For the wider field. We publish themes and invite open bids in October, usually funded by a partner.

How the money moves

No fund pays in one lump. Each grant is split into stages, and the next stage is released only when the last one has been accounted for.

Every payment runs through LegitGood. The proposal, the milestones, the receipts and the results all sit against the same record, and that record is public.

If a project stalls, the money stops. That protects the changemaker as much as it protects the funder, because nobody is left holding a commitment they cannot meet.

Fund with us

Put money behind a fund, or fund your own cohort

Companies and foundations can put money behind a fund directly, or run a full managed programme through Give for Good and fund their own cohort.
