A Structured Annual Cycle Built Around Changemakers

Call for Nominations
November – January
Every year we open nominations across Nigeria. Anyone can nominate a changemaker via the Luminary online portal. After our judges review submissions, the Top 50 are shortlisted for the Luminary Impact Accelerator.

Luminary Accelerator
March – April
Our 6-week certified accelerator equips changemakers with governance systems, impact frameworks, and funding-readiness skills. Fellows graduate with a Fundable Project Plan and a training certificate.

Luminary Awards
May
The Top 20 Luminaries of the year are announced and celebrated before donors, CSR leaders, media, and the broader impact community. Impact Fund I grants are awarded publicly at the conference.

Funding & Alumni Support
Ongoing
Milestone-based grants are disbursed through LegitGood. Alumni receive year-round mentorship, access to Fund II and Fund III bids, and peer accountability.
