Who we are

This website is operated by Luminary Empowerment Foundation, registered in Nigeria (CAC 8178351) and in Georgia, United States (EIN 41-2838812, a 501(c)(3) organisation). You can reach us at hello@luminaryproject.africa.

Using this website

You may read, share and link to our pages for lawful, non-commercial purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, access accounts or data that are not yours, scrape it at a scale that degrades service, or use it to publish unlawful, misleading or harmful material.

Donations and payments

Donations are made through LegitGood, our own giving platform, and card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Donations are voluntary and, unless we agree otherwise in writing, non-refundable. If a payment was made in error, email hello@luminaryproject.africa and we will review it with you.

Gifts to the United States entity are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Receipts are issued by the entity that receives your gift.

Submissions from Luminaries and partners

When you submit projects, achievements, photographs or other material to us, you confirm that you own it or have permission to share it, that any people shown have consented, and that it is accurate. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish and adapt that material across our website, reports, newsletters and social channels, with credit where appropriate. We may edit, decline or remove submissions.

Our content

Our name, logo, written content, photography and design are owned by us or our licensors. Brand assets may be used only in line with our brand guidelines.

Accuracy and third-party links

We publish impact figures and programme information in good faith and update them as our work progresses. The site is provided as is, without warranties. Links to other organisations, including LegitGood partners, do not mean we control or endorse everything on those sites.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the current version always appears on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without affecting any rights you have under the laws of your own country.
